Happy memorial day weekend! Luckily, I have one day off to spend with my freedom fighter. We spent the day checking out the deals. I’ve come to realize that I am not a sale shopper. I don’t like crowds, how sales people don’t care about making money because its busy so they don’t care anyone and I don’t like shopping in racks where I have to sift through things.

Salt & pepper pork
Recipe found online from google

2 tbsp of flour
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 – 1/4 lbs of boneless thin-cut pork chops
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Combine the flour, soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix together until the ingredients are smooth. Put your pork in and make sure that they are all covered with the marinade. Cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for a hour to 24 hours. Put a frying pan on medium heat with your 2 tbsp vegetable oil and fry pork. Turn them when they are golden brown. Cook time differentiates with the thickness of your pork cuts.

VEGAS IS OFFICIAL! I will be heading down that way on August 16 – August 23! Jaren and I will also being staying at the Aria Hotel. I’m so excited since I missed the opportunity to see this place when I was there last year. This is actually the first time I’ll be at Vegas that’s longer than 3-4 days! That means I can hit up In-and-Out and Olive Garden for the first time!

The last time I went I enjoyed Serendipity and loved Wynn’s buffet. I’m considering driving to LA to do some shopping (since we will arrive on midnight and won’t be able to check in until 3pm).

Anybody else can tell me what to do at Vegas?!?!

I’ve been ridiculous on F21 online lately. I want to blame it on the stresses of life. Many of the items I’m wearing in this post is from there.

My stresses: Trying to find a new place before my lease is up (which is the end of June 2011); My mom & dad’s health issues; JKO trying to find a better job and might have to move to either another state or country; Still trying to do my own job while having to deal with everything else; My future.

I think macaroons (the colorful ones) are one of the most beautiful desserts I’ve ever seen. I finally found a place in Hawaii that has them and I just had to try it!

The tan macaroon is Kona coffee, pink is strawberry and the light yellow with green is lilikoi.

I didn’t exactly know what to expect but they have an interesting texture and are incredibly sweet. My favorite one is the Kona coffee. I definitely want to taste the haupia macaroon next time I also didn’t try the lilikoi, I guess you can call it “sand bagging“. I didn’t even taste it. I just let it go to waste. Oh wait, I shared half with my roommate who just said it was “alright“.

This would be the third shorts related post that I’ve done in this past week. It’s been hot lately and I’ve been on vacation so I can break them out! It’s been a long time since I wore my LV x SS Speedy in the fushia color. She used to bestill is my favorite bag and she never fails in compliments

I decided to spend my last days of my vacation to go shopping and get better (if you followed me on Twitter, then you know I got sick on my vacation). The shopping hasn’t been lucky. I guess more to save!

I have a little modest collection of Jordan sneakers that I haven’t worn lately. I guess you can say I’m growing out of it. I love my boots and flats. I mean, they’re not as nearly comfortable compared to sneakers but they look fierce. I had to break out my Cool Grey Jordan 11‘s to fit the “chill mode” with some people.

Today was my fourth day of work and at this point.. I’m pooped. I spent most of my daylight at work and shopping (again). By the time I got home, I didn’t have anymore sunlight to take better pictures. So.. Here’s two taken from my iPhone.

Remember about my current blazer obsession? I found this amazing knit blazer with removable hoodie from A|X. Pictures soon, promise. I also wanted to do a line-up of “What’s in my make-up bag?” and explain how/why I use the products that I use (since a lot of people have been asking me online and in person). And March is almost here! Do I need to make a new wish/check list? EEK!

Let’s face it, most men need help finding gifts on different occasions. JKO does a really great job (now more then before) so he doesn’t need too much help. I hope he at least hits something on this list! The reason why I’m doing more neutrals is because I want to build my spring / summer outfits. I’m a sucker for accessories so I would love one, two, or even three things from this list. I think I deserve to treat myself for vday too :X
