I remember, once upon a time, where I thought combat boots were for witches (blame it on one of my favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus). I always thought that they were masculine and people would mistaken me to be in the military. Now I’m all about military looks. Camo, combat boots, olive green, love it all.

When I went to Vegas about a month or two ago, there was this amazing SA who helped me out at Steve Madden wearing these amaze boots. He said that they could barely hold them on the shelves (he was wearing women’s boots) and online was sold out. BUT ALAS! I found them.

As my previous post states, I am loonggg overdue with an IG update. I went from updating every Sunday consistently to dropping off the face of the planet. I think I will set an alarm (have I said this before?) on my iDevices.

This past weekend was awesome! It was the bf & I’s 8th year anniversary and it was fun! We got to watch The Avengers, which was amazing. I cannot even remember the last time we even seen a movie. Haha. We also had dinner at Ruth Chris, checked out the newly opened TJ MAXX, shopped almost every major mall and shopping center in HI and more. I enjoyed this past weekend enough to dread to go back to work today. Bleh. That’s life.

One of my favorite things about Vegas is the shopping! Yes, Hawaii might have the stores but they are all very different. For instance, Neiman Marcus. Hawaii’s Neiman doesn’t have all the Chanel and LV boutiques within the department store like Vegas does. The selections, especially for Chanel, is very different from the boutique. I even love going to Saks!

JKO and I took one more last look at Metropark and picked up a few more things. I got the chunky necklace and the Joe’s jeans.

The snake print is very subtle, which I like. I don’t think I’m brave enough to wear actual snake pants (like the Asian guy in the first Fast and Furious, lol).
