This past weekend was awesome! It was the bf & I’s 8th year anniversary and it was fun! We got to watch The Avengers, which was amazing. I cannot even remember the last time we even seen a movie. Haha. We also had dinner at Ruth Chris, checked out the newly opened TJ MAXX, shopped almost every major mall and shopping center in HI and more. I enjoyed this past weekend enough to dread to go back to work today. Bleh. That’s life.
Breaking out my graffiti speedy. It’s been a while. I’ve been using a lot of smaller bags lately. Wearing: MK watch, Louis Vuitton Speedy and bandeau, Sam Edelman flats, True Religion Julie denim (similar) and Nordstrom top (a cute similar version).
Going back old school with the Nilla Wafers.
The bf bought me one dozen lavender roses, one dozen red roses and one dozen of lilies.
I have an alien in my hair. Haha.
Hokulani’s cupcakes! Lilikoi, strawberry shortcake, snikerdoodle, lychee cupcake with strawberry frosting, orange cream and red velvet cupcakes.
Shopping day in the west side.
First time at Koa’s Pancake house (banana pancakes).
I LOVE Leonard’s Bakery malasadas. I die all the time X_X
I loved the black version so much that I had to get the gold pair. Love these Steve Maddens.
Breaking her out again. It’s been a while.
New bracelets in. (Jewelmint rose thorn bracelet and various others)
Louis Vuitton Vernis Alma bag, Bullhead red denim, MK watch, Sam Edelman heels, Oliver Peoples sunnies (buy similar), Jewel Mint lioness bracelet, F21 red bracelet, F21 spike bracelet and F21 leopard top.
I’m off today and I want to spend my day slugging around and organizing my dressing room. What a way to spend my Saturday day off, right? Haha. Have a great weekend everyone!
This must be the second time I wore these Joe’s jeans since I’ve gotten them. Now I’m thinking of these other Joe’s that I’ve seen in leopard print! I’m beginning to have a lot of leopard/reptile print in my closet when I should be adding in more colors. Is anyone else loving Tiffany blue and/or minty green right now?
Bag: LV, top: F21 (buy similar here), denim: Joe’s Jeans (buy similar here and buy similar ones here that are cute too!), shoes: Sam Edelman (buy similar here) and jewelry: F21 (buy similar), Chanel, MK (buy here) and Balenciaga (buy here)
I’ve been looking around online and checking out what people are doing to their old purses to bring them back to life. I honestly haven’t worn this LV Speedy in so long. I guess it’s because it no longer fits my personality. The bf gave me an awesome idea on how to spruce up this old bag. Pictures to come, I promise! It’s a pretty damn good idea and I cannot wait to get the materials
Have a great night all! I might be going out tonight
Taking my new YSL clutch out for a spin. I got to say, I’m pretty happy that I did side with the purple. Even through all the indecisiveness.
Note: If you are going to get these heels, I went up half a size because at first they ran small but now they are huge. My foot keeps slipping out. I need to find some padding!
- A rose gold or gold watch
- Those Sam Edelman booties I seen at Saks
Seriously! I’ve been so occupied with working and working that I haven’t really had time. Of course with Vegas coming in 2 weeks, I had to indulge a little bit.
I finally picked up something I’ve been always wanted but never got around to The Lorissa Sam Edelmans!
I love them! I tried on the ribbon heels that came out about a month ago, but these are more my style.
I’ve also been looking for a dark blue metallic nail polish and of course OPI had it. It’s called, “Opening Night“.
I also had to buy some work clothes for my conference thats in 3-4 weeks. I know I’m going to be paying for it by bringing blazers (since its in Vegas), but that’s one of the only things I can think of when it comes to dressing professionally. Any ideas?!
First on the review are these Sam Edelman’s that I have bought from Sak’s. They have a pretty solid shape so I had to go up half a size. They have these subtle quilted stitching with the gold studding which was really what caught my attention. The insoles are so comfortable that it doesn’t really need any breaking-in. Who doesn’t love the leopard insoles btw?
Second are these Rock & Republic studded flats that I had got from Hautelook (click on the link to get referred. It’s a great sample-sale website!). Besides the fact that it took almost three weeks to get them (I was in no rush to get them anyway), I was excited to see them. These are very similar to the Christian Louboutin’s that I always think about getting, but not quite there to pull the trigger on. I got it in a pale-greyish-rose color with hematite studs. They hurt like heck. By the end of the day (ha, who am I kidding? By the end of the hour), I had to change into more comfortable footwear. After the third time, they finally broken in and I love them to death! One of my friends (who shall not be named) even let me kick him with them on. Lol.
Last, but definitely not least, the Prada flats. I just had to jump on the opportunity of getting another pair. I mean, the pale-pinkish color just called out to me. I love them so much. Again, I have to thank Tiffany for showing me these.
Anyways.. This time around I knew better. They do stretch out so I went a size down. Which was a mistake, I should’ve went half a size down. I’m expecting it to stretch to get a better fit. But let me tell you, these things are the most comfortable things on earth, you don’t even need to break them in. Just put them on and go! Of course they come with the gorgeous puffer bow. The only thing that I dislike about this flat is the white sole. They get dirty so fast :\
Am I so crazy that I want to buy more of these in different colors?
