I’ve been inconsistently posting on here. Which is disappointing on my part since blogging more is my New Years resolution for 2013. Lets try this again, shall we?

These past few days off consisted of me always running some kind of errand. I just want to stay home and slug around all day. I have a work thing and will be flying on Friday so I know that lazy day will not be anytime soon since I’m pretty positive that my days will be full of exciting fun things. Lol.

For now, here’s some IG updates while I go online shopping. Haha.

Happy memorial day weekend! Luckily, I have one day off to spend with my freedom fighter. We spent the day checking out the deals. I’ve come to realize that I am not a sale shopper. I don’t like crowds, how sales people don’t care about making money because its busy so they don’t care anyone and I don’t like shopping in racks where I have to sift through things.

Salt & pepper pork
Recipe found online from google

2 tbsp of flour
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 – 1/4 lbs of boneless thin-cut pork chops
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Combine the flour, soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix together until the ingredients are smooth. Put your pork in and make sure that they are all covered with the marinade. Cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for a hour to 24 hours. Put a frying pan on medium heat with your 2 tbsp vegetable oil and fry pork. Turn them when they are golden brown. Cook time differentiates with the thickness of your pork cuts.

This past weekend was awesome! It was the bf & I’s 8th year anniversary and it was fun! We got to watch The Avengers, which was amazing. I cannot even remember the last time we even seen a movie. Haha. We also had dinner at Ruth Chris, checked out the newly opened TJ MAXX, shopped almost every major mall and shopping center in HI and more. I enjoyed this past weekend enough to dread to go back to work today. Bleh. That’s life.

My shopping has been so out of control lately. I know it must be bad because I am the one stating it and I haven’t posted pictures, yet. Hopefully for the next couple of weeks I can slow down and concentrate on work and get so concentrated that I’m too tired to shop. Haha. Back to homework now. *le sigh.

As I was putting this outfit together, I realized that I do not have a variety of heels. Flats, yes, but unfortunately I’m not strong in the heel department. I want to say that I have “height insecurities“, I’m 5’8″ and I find myself consistently saying “no” to heels I love because I’ll be 5’11″ – 6′ tall. I want to say that the bf also shares this height insecurity with me. Haha.

I’ve been looking for a perfect red lipstick for quite some time now and I found one! Revlon’s Lip Butter “Red Velvet”. I’ve always done the usual pinks and thought that red was appropriate for this look

This must be the second time I wore these Joe’s jeans since I’ve gotten them. Now I’m thinking of these other Joe’s that I’ve seen in leopard print! I’m beginning to have a lot of leopard/reptile print in my closet when I should be adding in more colors. Is anyone else loving Tiffany blue and/or minty green right now?

I guess it’s because it no longer fits my personality. The bf gave me an awesome idea on how to spruce up this old bag. Pictures to come, I promise! I’m totally in love with my Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C ostrich bag that I bought in Vegas! This is actually my first time using it and I love it. The versatility of it is what sells me. You can wear it as a cross body, low and high. It’s my very first RM bag and I love it! More to come, I’m sure.

Balenciaga bag – I’ve always wanted one but always found something else at LV. Hopefully this will be the year when I actually get one.
