This past weekend was awesome! It was the bf & I’s 8th year anniversary and it was fun! We got to watch The Avengers, which was amazing. I cannot even remember the last time we even seen a movie. Haha. We also had dinner at Ruth Chris, checked out the newly opened TJ MAXX, shopped almost every major mall and shopping center in HI and more. I enjoyed this past weekend enough to dread to go back to work today. Bleh. That’s life.

Can you believe that we are almost half way through the year? It’s definitely flying by. This weekend is the boyfriend and my 3988736432987324 year anniversary. Of course, he was the one to remind me. I always know, I’m just not that vocal about it. These were his words exactly, “you better have requested off this weekend. I did already.” Such a empty threat. Haha.

How was everyones Mother’s Day?

I’ve been devastated for the past few days because my mother was admitted into the emergency room and then stayed at the hospital for almost a week. I stayed with her, made sure she didn’t feel alone since my dad can’t be with her 24/7 (he has important doctors appointments). I bought her a sweater from Nordstrom because I know she would be cold at the hospital. She doesn’t feel like taking pictures or seeing people nowadays so this is the only picture I have with her online.

Everyone is being smacked in the face with nudes, rose pink, whites, just all kind of light colors. I haven’t completely abandoned my dark clothes, but these natural colors have really got a hold on me. Especially the rose pinks and golds. Lately I’ve been looking for more gold jewelry. I’m very picky so I haven’t been having the best of luck. I need these in my closet! Not really the brand names, just the ideas of these. Well.. Maybe the brand names n_n/

I finally got my good deal, but overly priced with shipping, Opteka RC-2 controller for my Nikon. I tested it out for the first time and I need to get adjusted to it. I need to find a better setting for the camera to work with me. Most of my head-to-toe shots were blurry. Trial and error, right people?

I’ve been dying to take those Prada flats out for a spin and I was amazed by how it easily broke in. This is what I love about designer footwear, you don’t have to kill your feet to break them in (well the ones I got so far have been great, I’m sure some styles are deathly). Unless someone can tell me other brands!

Just about 20 minutes ago I invested in a camera remote. I’ve come to the conclusion that running back and forth to the camera is exhausting and annoying for an accident prone like myself. I’m a sight to see when I’m trying to take pictures. I trip over the tripod, my own feet, and I “gribble” on the carpet for heaven sake. This is why I don’t take pictures when anyone is home. Haha. FYI, Amazon makes a killing off shipping to HI. I spent the same amount, maybe a little bit more to get that remote sent to me.

So for now, you have to deal with my close-up pictures of me struggling to hold my Nikon with one hand Hehe.

I am also loooonnnnggg overdue with getting a haircut. You can see all of my dryness at the ends of my hair. I’m planning to see a hairstylist on Friday. This is very off topic, but Pokemon is running my life right now. I’m very game-dorky :}

We did some errands and home shopping and ended our night eating dinner at Reyn’s Bar & Grill. There’s no pictures because we were so hungry we forgot :/ JKO and I hardly ever finish our meals. We would always have something to take home. This was the first time where we ate everything! We had Fresh Ahi Poke for an appetizer, Pulehu New York Strip Steak, Kobe Beef Loco Moco and Banana Lumpia. It was all delicious. I wasn’t dissapointed at anything at all. I definitely want to go back again! Hopefully this Saturday

West Hollywood waffles. It’s Oreo waffles, white chocolate mouse, caramel and chocolate sauce with white chocolate.

Philly Cheesesteak. Steak pieces, onions, mushrooms, bellpeppers and Cheezwhiz.

It has been a great Valentines day with good friends, family and loved ones. I hope 2012′s Valentines is going to be as great. I hope everyones day was great as well. Any stories?

Remember how I told you I was feeling leopard? Here’s a piece that I recently bought along with the sheer leopard top I picked up the other day. I also got these new True Religion grey cargo style denim called “Krista“. The material is a stretchy denim and for those of you who know me in person, I have a small/no ass. That’s why in the first picture it looks like that, it’s my lack of ass. I have to wear a belt to make it not look like that. I do love them. They are incredibly comfortable and I love the cargo style pockets. JKO saw them and showed them to me So proud of him.

*DENIM TIP: Flap pocket denims are great for people who doesn’t have a derrière (like me). It gives a little umph in that area.
