Sprinkles Red-Velvet Cupcakes.

My roommate was shopping at Williams Sonoma and found a ready-to-bake mix for Sprinkle’s famous red-velvet cupcakes. I’ve never had nor been to a Sprinkles so I was super psyched when she brought it home and made some today. She made everything herself. I just helped with the icing and decor of it. Besides the candy part being break-your-tooth-hard, it was delicious!
Also make sure that you pour the batter evenly so that they all bake evenly (keep it moist).

Day 2, Attempt 2: Food.

I’m on my second night baking for Thanksgiving lunch and dinner. Yesterday I made white cupcakes with strawberry frosting and sprinkles. Today I made red velvet cupcakes with poopie shaped cream cheese frosting and hot pink sugar 
I was really looking for fondant and the only person who knows where I could get it from is my Dad and he doesn’t like to answer the phone. I wanted to make fondant roses too :/

Did I ever mention that I won a Hamilton grill from Dave & Busters? Well I’ve been obsessed with it and want to grill anything and everything. Plus, I don’t have to use oil or butter when I use the grill. I made grilled steaks, white rice, and a salad with thousand island dressing. I got to even make those pretty grill “X”`s on the steak too.
I actually been playing a lot in the kitchen. If anyone has great recipes that I could try, pass it along my way! I just recently winged beef & broccoli and it was a big success Maybe for my next cooking attempt I will make beef stew.

Day 1, Attempt 2: You & your day.

This is the most recent picture of me (taken on November 1, 2010). I’ve been too busy to be taking pictures of myself. But expect more during the holidays.
It was a typical day for me. Work and then errands. Work went by quickly today. I have so much on my plate since there’s black friday coming up and I have to set up tons of interviews. I feel as if the holiday season is coming too quickly.
I got to pick up my Steve Maddens today! That was the excitement of the day. I love my Tipppers so much! I wore them around the apartment to break them in. Ok. Wore was an understatement. More like danced around the apartment. Haha.
To end the night I started making cupcakes for Thanksgiving. I have to start early or I won’t have enough time. I have 2 – 3 appearances on that day. Lame. I rather just stay at one place and not have to keep driving everywhere.
