I remember when I went to my first Metropark, it was in 2006 when I was vacationing to Las Vegas with the BF. I instantly fell in love. I literally went to the stores in vegas everyday until I left. It wasn’t just the clothes, it was the people, music and the art. I kept bugging them about opening a store in Hawaii. I went back in 2007 and spent everyday going to the stores just so I wasn’t missing a thing. Going to MP was one of the top reasons to go to LV.

In late 2007 and early 2008, I took one of the managers advice and just applied online for whenever they decide to open a location in Hawaii, and I did. Then one day, I got the phone call and a voice message, I called back and left a message and swore that I hung up, apparently I didn’t and you could hear me screaming in the background (according to my old boss).

I got hired and I didn’t care what position I was in, I was going to college full-time and I just wanted to be a part of the whole experience. I ended up getting promoted almost every year and loved my experience there. Like most jobs, it was a love/hate relationship.

I started in March 2008 and had a bitter uncertainty leaving in June 2010. Still shopped there about every week to visit friends. I found out in May 2, 2011 that they filed for bankruptcy. So of course I had to buy whatever I could! I loved this business, the people, the experience.

Today was my fourth day of work and at this point.. I’m pooped. I spent most of my daylight at work and shopping (again). By the time I got home, I didn’t have anymore sunlight to take better pictures. So.. Here’s two taken from my iPhone.

Remember about my current blazer obsession? I found this amazing knit blazer with removable hoodie from A|X. Pictures soon, promise. I also wanted to do a line-up of “What’s in my make-up bag?” and explain how/why I use the products that I use (since a lot of people have been asking me online and in person). And March is almost here! Do I need to make a new wish/check list? EEK!

We did some errands and home shopping and ended our night eating dinner at Reyn’s Bar & Grill. There’s no pictures because we were so hungry we forgot :/ JKO and I hardly ever finish our meals. We would always have something to take home. This was the first time where we ate everything! We had Fresh Ahi Poke for an appetizer, Pulehu New York Strip Steak, Kobe Beef Loco Moco and Banana Lumpia. It was all delicious. I wasn’t dissapointed at anything at all. I definitely want to go back again! Hopefully this Saturday

Here’s some other food porn! This is what we ate at our dinner date (with my cousin, her husband and JKO!) at Yogur Story.

West Hollywood waffles. It’s Oreo waffles, white chocolate mouse, caramel and chocolate sauce with white chocolate.

Philly Cheesesteak. Steak pieces, onions, mushrooms, bellpeppers and Cheezwhiz.

It has been a great Valentines day with good friends, family and loved ones. I hope 2012′s Valentines is going to be as great. I hope everyones day was great as well. Any stories?

Remember how I told you I was feeling leopard? Here’s a piece that I recently bought along with the sheer leopard top I picked up the other day. I also got these new True Religion grey cargo style denim called “Krista“. The material is a stretchy denim and for those of you who know me in person, I have a small/no ass. That’s why in the first picture it looks like that, it’s my lack of ass. I have to wear a belt to make it not look like that. I do love them. They are incredibly comfortable and I love the cargo style pockets. JKO saw them and showed them to me So proud of him.

*DENIM TIP: Flap pocket denims are great for people who doesn’t have a derrière (like me). It gives a little umph in that area.

Sephora has these NARS sets right now. I got the “Fashion Icon” set and I believe there are 2 others. It’s really the best bang for your buck. All four of these pieces for $59. Go and check them out! Also for the 100 point perk they have samples of Clinique’s Happy and “Fresh’s Citron De Vigne“. GO GET THEM BEFORE THEY ARE GONE!

Let’s face it, most men need help finding gifts on different occasions. JKO does a really great job (now more then before) so he doesn’t need too much help. I hope he at least hits something on this list! The reason why I’m doing more neutrals is because I want to build my spring / summer outfits. Besides getting presents on valentines day, what is everyone doing? JKO asked me last night because my roommate brought it up. That fucker. Im not the romantic type. Just give me a present and I’m good. People ge so crazy around valentines day. I just want to ea and get presents. The end!

This only happens once every blue moon because she likes to blame me for her spending so much money. It’s not my fault that she’s finding 10x more things when she’s with me than with someone else.

For me, I was more on a mission for flats. Since my job decided to not use any more uniforms (insert me jumping for joy just like Katherine Heigl)

I’ve decided to go all out. If you look at my FEBRUARY 2011 WANTS! post, you will see that I had those Prada bow flats that I wanted (or something similar) and I couldn’t find any that I completely loved. Instead I decided to find those Dr. Scholls fold out flats. On my way to finding those flats, I found these instead..

These Burberry flats are like wearing socks. They fit so comfortably and look so adorable on that they were a perfect fit for what I was looking for Oh and they fold too.

How many times have you switched your bag and always needed something that you left in the other bag? — It happens to me all the time. Especially with my vitamins, Aleve, hand sanitizer and hand lotion. So I told myself that it’s just easier if I just put a pack of all my necessities in each of my bags.

I found these awesome break-apart Hello Kitty and My Melody pill cases. I filled all of them and put them into each and every one of my bags. They are even small enough to put into my clutches.
